Laura Breland
Mrs. Laura J. Breland, 58 of Wiggins died February 6, 2010 at Hospice Ministries in Jackson.
Mrs. Breland was a retired teacher, having taught 32 years in the Stone County School District. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Wiggins.
Her parents, Dallas and Laura Dudley of Florence preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32-1/2 years, Joe L. Breland of Wiggins; one son, Michael Breland of Wiggins; two daughters, Chante Favors of Wiggins and Varnee Breland of Jackson; three grandchildren, Nia Beasley, Jadis Favors and Jacob Johnson all of Wiggins; one sister, Gladies Lewis of Jackson; and one brother, Sammie (Rhodina) Dudley of Florence.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Thursday, February 11 at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, February 12 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, followed by burial in Welcome Hill Cemetery.
The Reverend Chester Hopkins Jr will officiate.
Hartwells' Christian Mortuary of Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
