Brenda Westfall, 68, died on July 19, 2010, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Brenda was born in Bond, Mississippi on September 11, 1941, to the late Wesley and Lela Williams. She attended Perkinston Junior College in Perkinston, Mississippi before marrying her husband Richard Westfall on November 22, 1964. She worked for 17 years at Graphic Presentation Systems in Piscataway, New Jersey, prior to retiring in 2006 and relocating to Colorado.
Brenda will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed baking and making the holidays a very special time. Her big heart and warm smile will be greatly missed.
Brenda is survived by her children, Julie Westfall of Bethlehem, PA and William (Carla) Westfall of Somerset, NJ; one grandchild, Vasco Azinheira; two sisters, Billie Carmichall of Colorado Springs, CO, and Nell Baker of Wiggins, MS; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, her sister, Elizabeth Beeman, preceded her in death.
The family invites relatives and friends to attend a funeral service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Big Bond Cemetery, Bond, MS. Memorial contributions are welcome through Skinner’s Florist, Wiggins, MS (601) 928-7832.
