The qualifying window for those who wish to run for city office opened last Thursday.
Candidates running for a party nomination must file a statement of intent and pay a $10 fee while those running as independents must submit a petition signed by at least 50 qualified voters within the municipality or ward in which they are running.
Qualifying petitions are available at City Hall.
The qualifying deadline is 5 p.m. on March 5.
The primary election will be held May 7 with a runoff, if necessary on MArch 21.
The general election is June 4.
No candidates had qualified as of Tuesday morning.
