The Stone/Wiggins Narcotics Task Force made three arrests recently and seized more than $1,500 in cash.
The MDOC was making a home visit to Sherman Harris when an officer noticed a minor amount of marijuana.
"We ended up finding one ounce of marijuana and a crack rock," said Capt. Jay Green of the task force.
The task force also seized $1,000 in cash.
Harris, 44, was arrested and transported to the Rankin County Correctional Facility for violating MDOC release terms.
A female, 41-year-old Deantoinette Petty, was also arrested.
Both were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, a felony.
Wendell Gray, a 24-year-old Wiggins resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in front of the Stone County EOC/911 facility and a subsequent search of his vehicle resulted in the seizure of more than four ounces of synthetic cannibinoid, known on the street as, "spice."
"He was charged with felony possession with intent to distribute," Green said. "We also seized $550 in cash."
Gray posted a $50,000 bond.
