Eddie King, 80, of Wiggins died July 9, 2010 at his home.
Mr. King was a Barber for over 50 years and sold wood heaters since 1962. He was known by many on the coast, in Saucier, Houston, Texas and Cleveland, Texas. He also repaired sewing machines.

His greatest love and interest was helping others learn about the Bible's message concerning "God's Kingdom" or government where as we have all prayed "let your kingdom come" will be fulfilled under Christ’s reign over this earth, where "peace and happiness will dwell forever."
His whole life centered around Jehovah God's purpose of helping others learn of how that Kingdom is the answer to all our problems. He spent countless hours teaching freely this message to help any interested one.
He served as an elder in the congregation in Texas and Mississippi, shepherding with love. He moved to Wiggins 34 years ago to help form a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Wiggins area.
His parents, Obed Collins King and Annie Chapman King of Columbia; and seven siblings preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Ouida King; his son, Lindy (Jewel Prestine) King of Wiggins; two daughters, Sangie (David) Smith of North Carolina and Cynthia (John) Bienvenu of Wiggins; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three brothers, H.C. King of Madisonville, Texas, Houston King of Houston and Jerry King of Houston. He truly loved his family.
A graveside service was held on Tues. July 13, at Woodlawn Cemetery where family and friends gathered and Dick Robinson officiated.
Moore Funeral Home, of Wiggins was in charge of the arrangements.
