The chilly, rain-threatening weather did nothing to deter artists and art lovers Saturday.

Folks turned out to see local artists practicing their craft along the sidewalks of Pine Hill while other artists plied their trade inside.

The Pine Hill Dulcimers provided musical entertainment on the street while students took turns at an open mike in Southern Turnings.

Noted attorney Len Blackwell spent time signing copies of his book, “The Perk Paperboy” in another section of Southern Turnings.

Youngsters were offered, and accepted, an invite to lend a hand at creating a community painting in front of the former Serendipity restaurant.
