The 2019 Stone County Fair is gearing up and competitors may want to start preparing for entries.
The fair will run Sept. 3-7.
Items for display/judging will be accepted from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. August 28 in the exhibits building at the fairgrounds.
Fair books are available at the Extension Office at 214 Critz Street.
The books have information about the items which can be brought to the County Fair for judging and display.
The Fair Queen contest will be held at 7 p.m. August 29 at the exhibit building.
The Stone County Fair Horse Show will get things kicked off Sept. 3 and the Midway and exhibits building will open Sept. 4.
The traditional blueberry dessert contest will be Sept. 5 and the fair parade will roll at 6 p.m. Sept. 6.
