Camp Tice, a senior at Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg, has accepted an offer to play football at Mississippi State University.
Tice played Tight End and Linebacker for the Bobcats during his senior season and was the recipient of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Character Award while at PCS. He signed as a "preferred walk-on” and will play Tight End with Coach Joe Moorhead's Bulldogs.
PCS head football coach Derek White said, “I think it’s a great opportunity for a young man who has done everything first-class, both on and off the field. Camp has been working toward his dream of playing football at Mississippi State, and his dream became a goal that is now a reality."
Tice is the son of Brent and Alicia Tice of Wiggins and Jamie Tice of Hattiesburg and the grandson of Allen and Mary Jo Walters of Wiggins and Jill Holleman of Madison. He plans to study Civil Engineering at MSU.
