With 15 of 15 Stone County precincts reporting, it appears there will be a new look to county government come Jan. 1, 2020

District 4 Supervisor Scott Strickland, who vacated his office in order to run for the Chancery Clerk’s office, lost to political newcomer Tom Smith, 2,155-1,583 in the Republican runoff.

Incumbent District 5 Supervisor Dale Bond fell to newcomer Nathan Joel Bond, 522-428.

In the Republican runoff for Strickland’s District 4 seat, Clark Bond defeated Danny O’Neal 461-346.

Incumbent Westside Constable Louis Simmons lost to Mike Allen 1,059-645.

Results are unofficial and do not include absentee and affidavit ballots.
