Mrs. Arlene Morris, 84, of Purvis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 18, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Purvis and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mitchell Morris; her second husband, Leo Morris; her parents, Chester Cooper and Mary Morgan Hart and her brother, Ed McBride.

Mrs. Morris leaves behind her six children, David Morris (Charla) of Carnes, Robert Morris (Freda) of Carnes, Mary Eaton (Larry) of Rockhill Community, Eddie Joe Morris (Barbara) of Carnes, Karen Ford (James) of Purvis and John Wayne Morris (Fonda) of Wiggins; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren; one sister, Connie Bourne of Wiggins; one brother, Ken McBride of Coopersville, MI and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 21, 2020, at Carnes Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Moore Funeral Services in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
