Betty Lou Seals, a life-long resident of Wiggins passed away on September 11, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC at the age of 77. At the time of her death, Betty was living in Aberdeen, NC near one of her sons and his family.
Betty was born in Big Level, Ms on September 27, 1942 to Luna Ray and Mattie Wade Baker. She later married Dwight "Peanut" Seals were they raised six children, Timmy, Cyndi, Kenny, Damon "Bo", Dwight and Dewayne. Mrs. Betty enjoyed her family very much. She enjoyed cooking and coffee. You could always find her with a cup of coffee in her hand. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the "apple of her eye" and she always told them so.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda Ware; two brothers, Johnny Baker and Billy Baker; a son, Timmy Morris and her husband, Dwight "Peanut" Seals. She is survived by a daughter, Cyndi Freeman and her husband Kenneth "Banky" Freeman of Ovett; and four sons, Kenny Morris of Wiggins; Damon "Bo" Seals of Laurel; Dwight Seals and his wife, Cara of Lumberton; and DeWayne Seals and his wife Rachael of Aberdeen, NC; and 13 grandchildren, Fran (Michael) Simpson, Jeremey (Jennifer) Freeman, Marissa (Henry, Jr) Griffith, Heather (Jarred) Morris, Drew (Linday) Seals, Michael (Ashley) Corban, Keith Morris, Tucker Morris, Tyson Morris, Kayla Seals, Daniel Seals, Elijah Seals and Remi Seals; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22 at Ten Mile Cemetery located in Perkinston.
Crumpler Funeral in Aberdeen, NC and Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of the arrangements.
