Georgia Bond

Georgia Fae Bond passed away on May 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. Georgia was born on May 9, 1944, to George Bond and Flossie Lott Bond in Jackson Mississippi. Georgia Fae lived in Perkinston Mississippi with her husband of 59 years, Olson Bond.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Olson Bond, her parents, George Bond and Flossie Lott Bond, her infant daughter, her sister Peggy Kennedy, her father-in-law Elmer Bond and her mother-in-law Iva Bond.

Georgia Fae is now grieved by her children Sarah (Ronnie) Purvis, Chris (Penny) Bond, and Bonnie (Leonard) Koenenn, as well as the mother of two of her grandchildren, Robin Bond, and father of two of her grandchildren Kelly Cuevas. She is also mourned by her grandchildren Steven (Stephanie) Purvis, Krystal (Yancey) Lott, Mason Bond, Kipp(Kiersten) Cuevas, Lacey Cuevas, and Paige Bond, Leighton(Tyler) Odom, John, and Laci Mae Koenenn. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren Elliott and Ian Lott, Charlie, and Adalie Purvis, and Sydney and Siena Cuevas.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, 2021, at Moore Funeral Home. Georgia Fae’s final resting place will be Perkinston Cemetery.

The family of Georgia Fae Bond would like to send a special thanks to the staff of Solace Hospice for their wonderful care during her final days.

Georgia Fae was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a house mother at Mississippi Community College, drove a bus, and was election commissioner.
