Julian Campbell

ulian Von Campbell, 85 of Wiggins, Mississippi went home peacefully to be with the Lord, April 12, 2021.

Julian was born in Dock, Kentucky March 14, 1936. He always said “Born in Kentucky, lived in Mississippi”-he was always proud of his Kentucky heritage.

He was a member of Carterville Baptist Church of Petal, Mississippi, and a former member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Campbell and Hazel Wright Campbell; one brother, Robert Campbell; daughter, Kimberly Campbell Toney and granddaughter, Mistie Dawn Cardwell.

Julian was a Chemical Engineer; he began his career with the Atomic Energy Commission in 1957. He continued his career in the Defense and Space industry during the 1960s thru 1996 when he retired from Gen Corp Aerojet Marketing and Engineering Division in Huntsville, Alabama.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 64 years, Billie Hall Campbell; daughters, Vonnie Campbell (Tim Carroll) and Tracy Campbell Magouirk (Jimmy Magouirk). He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Will Toney (Lora), Stormie Cardwell, Lee Magouirk, (Shea), Alison LaVine (Erik), Forrest Cardwell (Sarah), Julie Williams (Kyle), Jenny Simmons (Zach), Joshua Magouirk (Joanna), Jonathan Magouirk, and Jason Magouirk. The blessings continued with 14 great-grandchildren as well as many precious cousins, nieces, and nephews.
