Tabitha Pittman

Tabitha “Tabby” Pearson Pittman, age 50, of Wiggins, MS gained her wings on December 14, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tabitha was born December 2,1970 to the late Freddie M. and Kathy (Broadus) Pearson of Wiggins, MS. As a child, Tabby was always active in dance and gymnastics and competing in many local pageants through the years. She even appeared as Miss Stone County in the Miss Mississippi pageant. She always awed the crowds with her choreographed dance routines. Tabitha was a graduate of Stone High School class of 1989. Tabitha married Tabor Pittman of Wiggins in June of 2003 and together they built a beautiful life. Their combined family was made complete that day, and for Tabby, her family meant more to her than anything else in the world. She moved mountains to make sure they always had everything they needed and knew her love was there. She was unendingly proud of Landon, T-joe, Kayla and Jada. Being “Ya-Ya” to her grandbabies, Dacie and Lane, brought her more joy than can be said. Tabitha was employed with the US postal service at the Perkinston Office. Everyone knows she loved her job and her route clients. She always went out of her way to be there, even while battling cancer. Tabby loved her Postal family, they were more than co-workers and friends, they were family. Tabitha joins her parents, Freddie Michael and Kathy Pearson in Heaven. She is survived by her husband Tabor; her children: Landon Meadows, Jada Pittman, T-joe Pittman (Katie) and Kayla Pittman (Mitch Jordan); one brother, Travis Todd Pearson (Kristi Miller) of Wiggins; two sisters, Jamie (Erick) Dunn of Saucier and Casey Pearson (Mark Williams) of Gulfport. She leaves a legacy of two grandchildren, Dacie and Lane Pittman, nieces and nephews: Jake Bilbo, Katie Bilbo and Ava Williams, along with so many friends whom she considered family. A beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Tabby had the biggest heart and met everyone with a smile. She made every single person around her feel welcomed and loved. She meant so many things to so many people, and will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday December 20th at Berean Baptist Church in Wiggins. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Pittman family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep Tab and everyone in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
