Thomas Edward (Tommy) Hall, Sr. passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021.

Tommy was a lifelong resident of Wiggins, MS, and graduated from Stone High School in 1970. He attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston.  He then went on to graduate from The University of Southern Mississippi and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Tommy was appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 1991 and served until 2011.  At the time of his death, Tommy was proudly serving his 20th year as an Alderman for the City of Wiggins.

Until 2001, he and his late father, Edward Hall, were co-owners of Hall’s Food Market in Wiggins, which had been in operation since 1929. He was a lifelong and active member of the First United Methodist Church of Wiggins.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Hall; his sister-in-law, Terrie Hall; and his nephew, Ryan Hall. 

Survivors include his children, Amy Taylor (David) of Brandon, MS, Abbie Hall (John) of Gretna, LA, and Thomas Hall, Jr. (Jessica) of Petal, MS; grandchildren, Cooper Hall Barker, Noah James Taylor, and Charlotte Faye Hall; and a brother, John Hall (Kelly) of Pass Christian, MS; and a nephew, Clay Hall of Pass Christian, MS.

A gathering of friends will be from 10:00 - 12:00 on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 at First United Methodist Church in Wiggins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 520 East Pine Avenue, Wiggins, MS, 39577.
